Semantic web and knowledge bases in learning and teaching

摘要
This paper discusses one of the possible application area of semantic web technology. This application area is teaching, learning and training aided by shared knowledge bases (SKBs). As a basis needs of education efficiency and flexibility increase are given. As a vision to be solved two real-world use cases are given that include problem solving, learning and knowledge sharing. Some selected current e-learning solutions and e-learning projects are reviewed to give the basis for further thoughts. Finally some implications on technology, on individual user and organization, that were generated by these application scenarios, are discussed.
