摘要
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems continue to represent one of the largest IT investments in organization and increasingly becoming one of the prerequisites for doing business in many industries. Many companies worldwide have adopted ERP systems for variety of reasons, including cost reduction, integration of business processes and faster information transactions. ERP Implementation. and critical success factors have been extensively researched but few studies have investigated the success of the system. This study develops a model based on the information system's research to identify success measures. Using a mail survey, the data was collected from 53 Australian companies in diverse industries. The results suggest that a 20 item instrument that measures five dimensions of ERP success is well - validated. Success measures defined in this study are quite comprehensive on one hand and can be used to measure different aspects of an ERP system implementation. This paper discusses the implications of the study for both practice and research as well.
