摘要
The present study examines whether musical games and role-play activities can enhance children's self-concept and ameliorate peer relationships. Participants, 11 boys and 9 girls, between 7 and 8 years, attending the second grade at an inclusive primary mainstream school of a suburb of Athens. These children were selected because they presented poor interpersonal skills and relationship difficulties with peers. The project lasted 8 weeks and involved three teachers of the school. The results revealed that these activities cultivated children's social skills. However, the lasting effects need to be estimated. (C) 2011 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
