On the relationship between fatal and nonfatal suicidal behavior

摘要：
The relationship between attempted and completed suicide was explored, and it was argued that extrapolation from research on attempted suicides for the prediction of the characteristics of completed suicides is possible. Sociologists were criticized for neglecting the study of nonfatal suicidal behaviors, and possible theories of nonfatal suicidal behavior were presented.
