摘要：
Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) has been proposed to be used in the draft MPEG-4 standard and it is expected to play an important role in low bit-rate application such as video phone. A digital design for DWT is presented in this paper. Related issues including basic concept, boundary treatment, and distributed arithmetic algorithm are addressed.
