摘要
A turbulent combustion modeling method combining the Improved Delayed Detached Eddy Simulation (IDDES) model and the Flamelet/Progress Variable (FPV) model is developed and applied in the hybrid RANS/LES simulation of the DLR supersonic combustor. The results show good agreement with the experimental data, indicating that this method is able to accurately predict the supersonic combustion process. As a comparison, k-omega SST model combined with the FPV model is applied in the same case. It is found that the simulation of k-omega SST model leads to larger deviations compared with that of the IDDES model. In addition, a compressibility correction of the FPV model is adopted to account for the pressure variations in compressible flows.
