摘要：

This paper presents an adaptive variable structure output tracking controller that achieves improved transient response over conventional adaptive controllers and, at the same time, retains asymptotic output tracking performance even in the presence of bounded external disturbances. The main properties of the proposed controller are analytically established in two theorems, and the paper also includes simulation results which demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
