摘要
Throughput of a polarization interference imaging spectrometer is calculated. The factors influencing the throughput are analyzed. The calculated results of the output throughput are given for the input light linearly polarized and unpolarized, respectively. The maximal throughput efficiency for the polarized light is very high compared to that of the unpolarized light. The reflection ratio of the surfaces of the optical elements is the main factor to impact the throughput for the two cases, and the polarization direction of the incident light is also a main factor only for the polarized light.
