摘要
To provide effective design and development strategies for mobile learning solutions, investigating its acceptance by the students is essential. However, most of the previous studies considered mobile learning as whole and did not focus on a specific subset of mobile learning. Furthermore, they did not investigate its acceptance for a specific course. Therefore, this study aims to investigate mobile multimedia learning acceptance for Thermodynamics (I) by engineering students and influencing factors. The research method is exploratory case study and the required data was collected from 70 engineering students through an open questionnaire and analyzed through thematic method. The results show students' high intention for watching mobile multimedia learning materials for Thermodynamics (I), however students' intention to engage in reflection or discussion on the published material or providing learning materials is not considerable. Also, several factors such as perceived usefulness, perceived accessibility, attractiveness, friendship, low self-confidence, habit and poor communication skills impact the mobile multimedia learning acceptance for Thermodynamics (I) among the students.
