摘要
At present, thanks to the development of modern information and communication technologies, the higher education institutions run most of their courses also online. In foreign language teaching/learning the blended form is widely applied. Therefore, the aim of this article is to show through a case study how the blended learning form of instruction can be effective in practice. This is illustrated at the example of seven English courses taught in a blended form at the Faculty of Informatics and Management, University of Hradec Kralove. The authors describe the current blended English courses and analyze data collected from online evaluation reports. They demonstrate in figures how effective students' learning in these courses is. In the final part, the crucial didactic conclusions are presented.
