Improving visualization skills in engineering education

摘要
A dual approach to helping engineering students improve their spatial abilities is proposed. The approach is based on computer graphics applications, and uses both Web-based graphics applications and a sketch-based modeling system. By combining these approaches, students' attention can be captured and freehand sketching as well as an understanding of the relationship between orthographic and axonometric views can be fostered.
