Test of evaluated data from libraries for fusion applications in an ITER shield mock-up experiment

摘要
Neutron and photon flux spectra were measured with scintillation defectors and gas proportional counters at two positions inside a bulk shield assembly simulating the shielding system (first wall, shielding blanket and vacuum vessel) of the international Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor. The experimental results are compared with calculations using the Monte Carlo code MCNP-4A and nuclear data from the Fusion Evaluated Nuclear Data Library (FENDL-1), the European Fusion File (EFF-2, EFF-3), and the Japanese Evaluated Nuclear Data Library (JENDL-FF). A slight under-estimation of the measured neutron flux spectra is observed while the experimental photon flux spectra are calculated satisfactorily. Differences between the calculated results are in general marginal.
