摘要
This article carries out a characterization study of the professional competences presented by the students of the Bachelor degree in Education for the innovation and development of educational processes. It is a result of the research project "Innovation and development of educational processes of the Lay University 'Eloy Alfaro' of Manabi de Manta, Ecuador". It is based on the competence-based vocational training approach and on the innovation of educational processes. A pre-experimental quantitative research was carried out using the methods of analysis-synthesis, document review, direct observation in the field and the chi-square hypothesis test at 95.0% confidence. It concludes by stating the existence of favorable changes in the professional competencies of these students for the innovation and development of educational processes during their bonding process (work practice) in which they were more creative and innovative.
