摘要
Importance of three-dimensional beamforming in 5G wireless networks is due to increasing density of stations. Alignment of transmitter and receiver beams can lead to substantial interference suppression. Deficiency of current works in the area of multi user models with beamforming is the lack of dependency of interference suppression rate on the system level versus half-power beamwidth on the link level in an explicit form. Contribution of current research is system level simulation model, which demonstrates, that location aware beamforming with azimuth beam narrowing from 60 degrees to 10 degrees results in approximately 15-dB interference suppression for hexagonal layout with partial and full frequency reuse, which proves space division multiple access capabilities growth in spite of increasing density of neighboring stations.
