A low-voltage and low-power CMOS active pixel

摘要
A CMOS active pixel which can be used in an electronic retina for LASER position detection has been proposed. The pixel is designed with suppression of background illumination influence, which makes the pixel robust in applications. Besides, with pixel bandwidth programmable, the realized retina can be more adaptable to its application environment. It works in low voltage (2V) and its power consumption is also low (4.4 muW). Simulation results in a 0.8 mu CMOS technology confirm its robustness facing environmental noise. The pixel only contains 10 transistors including column and role selection stage.
