3-D graphical simulation of complete manufacturing systems in real-time

摘要
In this paper we present our approach to 3-D graphical simulation of complete manufacturing systems. Besides available robot and manual workplace treatment the detailed modeling and simulation of industrial sensors, application specific mechanisms, and of flow-of-material is mandatory. We focus on developing of suitable techniques to simulate complete industrial production processes in real-time because we couple existing controller systems with our simulator for the purposes of offline-programming, virtual training, and online-visualization in virtual reality environments.
