The critical success factors of web-based supply chain collaboration

Supply Chain Management (SCM) founded on collaboration between Supply chain partners. Although the benefits and prominent Successful applications Of using Internet and Web-based systems in Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) is well-documented, many Studies concluded that the (SCC) using internet and Web based systems is still limited, beyond the expectations, and the adoption rate is Still unsatisfactory. The aim of this paper is to present a conceptual framework for Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of Web-based SCC, based on the literature survey. A number Of Studies have revealed various CSFs for different aspects related to Web-based SCC. The paper reviewed the most relevant Studies and classified it into five areas: SCM and SCC, Interorganizational Information Systems (IOS) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Electronic Business (EB), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and the Internet and Web- based SCM (IWSCM). Seven major CSFs were revealed for Web-based SCC, namely: top management Support, business process reengineering, training and education, IT infrastructure, trust among partners, open information sharing, and performance measurement. The importance and sub-factors of each factor is identified.
