摘要：
Solidification technology is a new course that is tightly related to the new materials, such as nano-technology, biomaterials, amorphous, and new structural materials. However, this course has been taught for many years in our university using traditional textbooks that originated from sixties or seventies. As China reforms and opens to the world, the economy of China is developing with high speed. The professionals with both specialties and good English are needed urgently. It has been shown that bilingual teaching is an effect way of cultivating university students. In this paper, the necessity of bilingual teaching in solidification technology is discussed and some of the methods in our practices are also introduced. The satisfactory results of the bilingual teachings in solidification technology have been obtained at our university.
