The Practice of Bilingual Teaching in Table Tennis

Bilingual teaching is an important approach for our education reform. As China reforms and opens to the world, more and more international students came to China to study table tennis. On the other hand, some Chinese students will go abroad for pursuing their physical education. The professionals with both specialties and good English are needed urgently. In this paper, the necessity of bilingual teaching in table tennis is discussed and some of the methods in our practices are also introduced including selection of textbooks, case study methods, multimedia courseware, etc. Sample lesson plan has been presented. It has been shown that bilingual teaching is effect ways of cultivating both Chinese and international students.
