Development and application of ore deposits information extraction assistant mapping system based on MapGIS

摘要
It is important to extract information in the mineral resource prediction and assessment. Nevertheless, there is a problem between geology personnel and information personnel separated, which handicaps the process of mineral resources prediction. The deposit information extraction and analysis assistant mapping system was developed based on MapGIS 6.5 and Visual Basic 6.0. The system can not only effectively settle with above problem, but ensure the data standardization and normalization. Setting the porphyry copper an example proves the system is practical.
