摘要
In this paper, a novel MapGIS-based power grid management system was introduced. By the establishment of power grid geographic information system (GIS) data center, the management system could exchange information with existing supervisory control and data acquisition(SCADA) system, metering system and electricity accounting system in Da Tong Coal Mining Group Co., Ltd, and monitor power grid status in real-time by ledgers of poles, transmission lines, transformers and other power grid equipment, and achieve digital management by putting all these details in MapGIS 10. This system provides high intelligence and flexible features with advanced technology. Practical application shows that this management system has improved the work of power management efficiently and reduce the power production costs significantly.
