摘要：

A new miniaturized dual-band Planar Inverted F-Antenna with slotted structure and foam substrate is proposed. The antenna structure is 9 x 15 x 7 mm(3) allowing it to be easily housed in a mobile handset. The proposed dual-band PIFA antenna achieves a return loss of -18dB at 2.5GHz with a bandwidth of about 310MHz and a return loss of -33dB at 4.5GHz with a bandwidth of about 220MHz respectively. The proposed antenna is designed on low cost foam substrate fed by a 50-Omega coaxial feed line. The simulation was performed in High Frequency Structure Simulator Software (HFSS).
