摘要
In order to surpass the existing disadvantages in furniture industry of Serbia and so as to enable its more intensive development, it is necessary to perform the technologic restructuring, so that instead of the existing most frequent model, a new method of production is developed, with which the required rate of changes and adaptations to the demands of the market can be achieved. By the application of the concept of group technology, the paper gives the model for technological restructuring of the existing ones and for the construction of new factories for the manufacturing of furniture made of solid wood.
