摘要
Titanium dioxide is extensively used as a photocatalyst due to the strong oxidizing power of its holes, high photostability and redox selectivity. In the present work, the butyl titanate was used as raw materials and preparing nano titanium dioxide was obtained by sol gel method. The influences of some determinant parameters such as the dosages of the ethanol, the water and the hydrochloric acid on the efficiency of the reaction and on the size of particles were investigated in details. In addition, the temperature was considered as one of the crucial factors. Based on the optimal variables, nano titanium dioxide was synthesized. It has been shown that it would be possible to synthesize nano silicon dioxide at 55 degrees C for 3 h, and the optimal molar ratios of the reactants were confirmed by test.
