摘要：
It is an important responsibility for higher education to train applying talents, who can be efficiently brought up through improving students' practice skill. Through analyzing history and presence and development tendency of statistics, focusing on the cultivating aim, the paper discusses how to innovate curriculum settings and classroom teaching and exercise design in statistics, in order to cultivate talents who can satisfy with the quality requirement from current society. Finally, it is suggested to keep pace with the times continually to revise teaching methods according to changing conditions.
