Study on Application of Multimedia Network Technology in the Physical Education Teaching of Higher Vocational Institutes

With the popularization of the computer technology, the physical education of higher vocational institutes is now facing new challenges. Currently the physical education teachers are required to proficiently apply network and multimedia technology to reform the traditional teaching modes. The primary objective of the physical education is to develop and exercise the physica fitness of students, and the more important is to effectively teach students the scientific exercise methods so that the students may master the correct physical health care knowledge as well as doing scientific and reasonable exercise. With the help of the multimedia technology, both teachers and students could acquire rich sports information, which could boost the rapid development of the physical education of higher vocational institutes. Mainly studying on the physical education of higher vocational institutes, this paper firstly discussed the influence of the multimedia technology secondly, discussed the existing problems in application of the multimedia technology; and at las elaborated how to make correct use of the multimedia technology in the physical education teaching.
