Sampled-data control of networked control systems with event-triggered measurements

This paper investigates a sampled-data control problem of networked control systems with some novel event-triggered measurements. In order to reduce the costs of measurement and communication, three different kinds of event-triggered measurement mechanisms are proposed for networked systems in the control design. At the same time, the proposed control strategies can guarantee consensus of the subsystems. We also analyze the Zeno behavior of the event-triggered control strategies by developing a lower bound of the inter-event times. Simulation results are presented to validate the event-triggered control strategies.
