摘要：

A 3-phase, 5-limb transformer core was built using four wound and cut amorphous cores to demonstrate a substantial energy saving. Fundamental and third harmonic components of flux were measured in selected regions of the core. Total core loss of the transformer was measured fora range of core flux densities.
