SOME CONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE PERCEPTION OF QUALITY IN THE TEACHING PROCESS IN THE HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM

摘要
Until 1990 students' opinions regarding the way of teaching a subject - as imposed by a syllabus or by the teaching staff - were not relevant. However, once Romania adhered to the Bologna Treaty, a particular emphasis was placed on this aspect, which considerably improved the quality of teaching in higher education systems. This paper presents the findings obtained from the questionnaires applied to 1500 students from different faculties of Dimitrie Cantemir University. The statistic processing was completed using SPSS 11 and each subject was given a unique registration code. The findings have been reported to the teaching staff in a private meeting between the latter and the Dimitrie Cantemir management.
