摘要
The total number of on-service female teachers at the Foreign Languages College of Inner Mongolia University is 81, accounting for 67.5% of the total teaching and research faculty. They should be the main forces not only in foreign language teaching but also in discipline construction. The discipline construction of the college is characterized by foreign language teaching for Mongolian students as the starting point, undergraduate education as the basis, postgraduate education as the frontier, and international communications and cooperation as the objective. The course of discipline construction with these features is in essence the process of combination between pioneering research fields and undergraduate education. Only if the potentials of female teachers are fully developed and their enthusiasm fully motivated can the team spirit of the Foreign Languages College be created, and the essential task of discipline construction be accomplished.
