Analysis on Strategies for the Development of Informational Teaching Ability of College Teachers

The rapid development of information technology has changed teachers' teaching methods and put new requirements on their teaching ability. Information-based teaching ability has become an indispensable part of the professional development of college teachers. The level of information-based teaching ability of college teachers directly affects the teaching quality of higher education. Under the environment of information technology, the development of college teachers' teaching ability is the only way in the educational information. This paper, through analyzing the particularity of the development of teachers' teaching ability, illustrates the role of information technology in teacher's teaching process. Information technology is the innovation of teaching method and reconstruction of teaching resources. Then it presents the current situation of informational teaching ability of college teachers. Therefore college teachers should come up with the basic requirements of informational teaching, which are mastering the basic theory and utilizing the basic ability of modern educational technology. Finally, it puts forward three strategies for the development of college teachers' teaching ability.
