Isomorphic lp-subspaces in orlicz-lorentz sequence spaces

Given a decreasing weight w and an Orlicz function phi satisfying the Delta(2)-condition at zero, we show that the Orlicz-Lorentz sequence space d(w, phi) contains an (1+ epsilon)- isomorphic copy of l(p), 1 <= p < infinity, if and only if the Orlicz sequence space l(phi) does, that is, if p is an element of [alpha(phi), beta(phi)], where alpha(phi) and beta(phi) are the Matuszewska-Orlicz lower and upper indices of., respectively. If. does not satisfy the Delta(2)-condition, then a similar result holds true for order continuous subspaces d(0)(w(0)) and h(phi) of d(w, phi) and l(phi), respectively.
