A novel two-dimensional heterometallic coordination polymer containing unusual hetero-chiral helical chains

摘要
A new heterometallic complex Na[Co(Hedta)] H(2)On(H(4)edta = Ethylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetracetic acid) has been synthesized and characterized by X-ray determination, IR, TGA analysis, and elemental analysis. The complex crystallizes in Triclinic, space group P-1 with a = 22.330(3)angstrom , b = 6.9360(15) angstrom , c = 23.182(3) angstrom , beta = 117.000(2), V = 3199.1(9)angstrom(3), C(10)H(17)CoNaN(2)O(10), Mr = 407.18, Dc = 1.691 g.cm(-3), F(000) = 1672, Z = 8, the final R = 0.0631, and wR = 0.1576 for 7946 observed reflections (I > 2 sigma). Complex 1 exhibits a new two-dimensional framework; the organic coordination anions [Co(Hedta)](-) are linked up by sodium ions to form a hetero-chiral helical chain structure in the solid state.
