摘要
This paper describes the design of the subject Computing Applied to Translation I in the translation of interpretation degree in the University of Murcia (Spain). In this design we have given more importance to practical issues (shown in computer laboratories) than theoretical lectures in order to increase students attention and motivation in their learning process. Apart from the description of competences, contents, activities, methodologies, tools and how the evaluation is carried out, we provide the results we have obtained, which have been satisfactory both students and teachers point of view. Thus, the design of this subject can be used in other degrees (with some small changes) different from computer science that require that their students have some skills related to computers and the use of their software in a university and professional environment.
