Multi-sensor switch technique in multi-sensor system

摘要
The paper proposes a criterion for multi-sensor switch based on a fast Kalman filtering algorithm to precisely locate a maneuvering target by the least number of sensors. We can calculate the Geometry Dilution of Precision (GDOP) of target in different groups at different positions due to the given distribution of multi-sensor system. Therefore, to select optimal group of GDOP to track target can be conducted. A series of the computer simulation results demonstrate that the new developed algorithm can significant outperform the existing method in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.
