摘要
Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) have had a significant impact on WDM transmission systems and are scalable, reliable, economic, and have performance comparable to discrete optoelectronic components. Integration of SOAs to the PIC platform extend the performance and benefits of PICs. (c) 2007 Optical Society of America.
