摘要
With the rapid development of the underwear industry, the amount of moulded cup bra's possession in the market is gradually expanding because of its smooth appearance, crisp styling and better support for breast care effect. As the moulded cup is the main part of the bra, three-dimensional moulded cup shape is basically designed with the modeling software on the base of 3D body scanning. However, without considering the force deformation factors when wearing bras, the result is that the cup will not fit the body, or there will be displacement of the points between the body and cup. Therefore, not only will the result not meet the consumers' demand, it would also aggravate the deformation of the moulded cup and reduce its service life. This paper presents the study work of force analysis for moulded bra during usage. Firstly, the major parts of the bra that is subjected to force is analyzed, introducing four virtual force bearing positions that needs to be taken into consideration in the designing of the moulded cup. Secondly, through experimental measurements and data analysis, it is apparent that six feature points of the moulded cup shape will be displayed with its scope of the displacement. After that, this displacement will be treated as the main amendment element of the moulded cup's design. This study focuses on working out the problem of the moulded cup when in contact with the body to the point of load deviation by introducing the force deformation into the design of the moulded cup's factors.
