摘要：
The article is a review of foreign empirical studies of procrastination in students and its relation to anxiety Motivation, self-effectiveness and other indices: The authors indicate principal mechanisms of the phenomenon and its consequences for a student's academic activity, giving recommendations for combating procrastination in students. Procrastination is a hindrance to effective teaching.
