摘要
Phytochemical investigation on the leaves of Artemisia argyi has led to the isolation and identication of a new caffeic acid ester, heptatriacontanyl caffeate (1), along with two known caffeic acid esters, including docosyl caffeate (2) and octadecyl caffeate (3). Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods (IR, NMR, and MS). The two known compounds were first reported from the title plant. Meanwhile, the antioxidant activities of compounds 1-3 were determined through DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging assays. The results showed that they displayed moderate antioxidant activities.
