摘要
The Teacher Training Program (Parlor) is presented within the scope of the Federal University of Maranhao-UFMA, highlighting the training of lay teachers spread across school spaces in the Maranhao territory that lack teacher training to improve their professionalization in the classroom. Parlor's experience in five municipalities in Maranhao is reported: Grajau, Jenipapo dos Vieiras, Urbono Santos, Logo da Pedro and Logo do Junco, presenting the contribution of the History Course in the training of these teachers with a view to improving local education. We identified the exit as the beginning, approaching the work of Guimaraes Rosa-Grande Sertao Veredas and the successful experiences in the crossing of the four years of teacher training with the arrival in the graduation. It is concluded that Parlor is one of the teacher training programs that brings in its essence the real and concrete contribution of a more humanized school and a more democratic society.
