摘要
This article was carried out with the intention of analyzing the effectiveness of the norms on protection measures for women victims of violence in the family and in the partner in Medellin. For this, an analysis was carried out from the general to the particular, from the national to the regional perspective that delves into the figures of violence in the family and in the partner against women. Carrying out a legal and historical tour of the protection measures established from laws 294 of 1996 and 575 of 2000 to law 1257 of 2008 and regulatory decree 4799 of 2011, Norms that according to the figures obtained do not allow to ensure their effectiveness because the existing context of violence against women, despite the existence of mechanisms such as the regional route proposed for the attention of cases of gender-based violence, which leaves us with insufficient current effectiveness.
