摘要
Academic linkages with developing countries for the purposes of environmental protection brings tremendous benefits to all parries. The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) Nigeria and the Delft University of Technology, with Wageningen Agricultural University. Netherlands, have operated a successful linkage programme for Erosion central in Nigeria using EEC funds under Lome convention. Following the linkage, FUTO is now developing a BTech programme on Environmental protection. It is recommended that every economic grouping set up a fund for international linkage with environmental perspectives, globally.
