摘要
High-strength Inconel 718 are used as materials for critical parts of turbine blade because of good mechanical properties. Unfortunately, there is a drawback during material removing process. In this paper, grinding performance of surface finish was investigated under several cutting conditions. The variable parameter studied were traverse speed, depth of cut and number of passes. Historical data of Response Surface Methodology (RSM) were used to analyze the correlation between variable input and output. ANOVA shows traverse speed and depth of cut were found to be significant factors instead of number of passes where P-value is less than 0.05. Appropriate parameter settings for grinding of the Inconel 718 are suggested.
