摘要：
The aim of our paper is to identify the major challenges of last mile logistics, as well as the ways that can improve it. The results indicate that the urban freight flow has a trend of regular growth. The challenges of last mile logistics mentioned in the article were classified into four categories: infrastructure, logistics costs, technology and last mile logistics management. Similarly, the proposed ways of improvement were examined under the pillars of sustainable development, social, economic and environmental. Finally, we have contributed to highlighting future research that allows researchers, practitioners and professionals to understand last mile logistics as a discipline and to draw out models of last mile distribution in order to build the urban logistics of tomorrow.
