摘要
For defined environment conditions levels of activities, human perception of wear comfort of any kind of clothing is determined by the kind of fabrics the clothing is made from. The human being commonly wears fine knitted or woven fabrics next to skin. The determinants of the structure and properties of fabrics are generally: type of knitted fabrics (plain, rib, interlock, purl, etc.), type of woven fabrics (plain, twill, satin etc.), kind of yarn (spun, filament, composite), spinning technique (ring, rotor, air-jet), technical parameters of yarn (count, level of twisting) as well as chemical structure of fibres (mono component or blend). In this paper an overview and general observations of thermal and water vapour parameters of lightweight knitted fabrics are given.
