摘要
This paper describes mechanical structure of climbing robot called "SAFARI" and software of the control system of this robot. First, mechanical structure and the architecture of the control system has been presented with respect to functionality of its particular elements and software requirements. Then, the CORBA standard and its properties have been briefly outlined. Finally, the object architecture of the control/diagnosis software of the climbing robot, implementing the CORBA standard, has been described.
