摘要
A new aryl bis-sulfoxide derivative was designed, synthetized and structurally characterized in solution and in solid state. The chemical behaviour of the newly obtained 1,3-(para-tolylsulfinyl)-5-tert-butyl-benzene2was evaluated towards tin, silicon and phosphorus containing derivatives. In the case of Sn(II) derivative, the potential of bis-sulfoxide2as a pincer type ligand was suggested.
