Allyl rhodium(III) complexes containing heterocyclic nitrogen ligands

摘要：
A series of hexacoordinated Rh-III complexes of general formula trans-[RhCl2(allyl)(N-N)] (allyl = C3H5 or C4H7; N-N = 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2'-bipyridine or 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic methods. The complexes have an octahedral geometry with the Cl ligands coordinated in the trans positions. The catalytic activity of [RhCl2(C4H7)(phen)] with respect to hydrogenation of alkenes has been investigated.
