Modelling rotor skew in induction machines using 2D and 3D finite element schemes

摘要：
Induction machines are modelled using both 2D and 3D finite elements. The A-psi method is used in 3D. Skewed rotor slots are modelled in 2D by dividing the machine into short axial sections, each of which is rotated by a small amount to simulate rotor skew.
