A 3-D Near-Field Modeling of Different Winding Modes for Electromagnetic Interference

摘要
Magnetic components are generally used in electrical devices. However the interference to the environment of these components is not widely explored. This study presents a comparative analysis of the magnetic field distribution of three different winding techniques with a toroidal core. The analytical model is based on finite element analysis. The effects of the winding layout around a single core and double core are discussed. It is found out the winding techniques make some contribution to the radiated field. Moreover, this paper studied the near field coupling of a core when a high conductivity shield placed in the vicinity. The side without the source is immune, but the magnitude of field in the side with the source is up.
